Individualizing the proofreading process is essential to match the weaknesses in your writing to produce an effective piece of content. When you are proofreading your research work, focus precisely upon your problem areas, for example, I know I often make errors in verb usage and hence, I look out for errors in these areas while proofreading. Below are some tips on how you can do it:

• Think about the errors that you typically make
• Plan and learn how to fix those errors
• Develop or choose the most comfortable strategies to correct your particular errors
• Focus and Concentrate in the proofreading process

Schedule some number of hours daily for the task; don’t fix up 1-2 days completely for this. Only short blocks of time are helpful
