I am not good at English. It is not my first language and I have written my dissertation but it is not correct. My guide says it’s not good but I don’t know how to make it good!
I am a good student and worked really hard to be here. I don’t want to lose my marks due to my language. I am not bad at it but it’s not up to the level of a dissertation. So what do I do?
Please help!

Hey, relax! It will all be okay. Has your guide told you what parts of your dissertation needs improvement?

My guide read abstract and intro. He said it’s too bad to go further. He says there is no link, grammar mistake, poorly written. Advised me to re-write everything and gave me a month to do so.

Well, that’s a real bad situation. In this case, you’ll have to re-write everything and show the changes to your guide. Or perhaps you can just change the initial parts of every chapter. And work on results and conclusion more, as they are quite important to the readers. Find a relaxing place, keep dictionary ready at you side, read a lot of journals and re-phrase your sentences. See if it works.

Writing a dissertation is the most important task as it represents everything you did during your research journey. Unfortunately, most of us find it really difficult to do so!
I am so sorry to hear that you are stuck on writing. I know how rejection feels as I faced a similar kind of problem. What I understand is that you need to make a lot of changes and you only got a month. So, I would suggest that you take help from a friend or seek assistance from professional editors. You can also join a workshop! Where do you reside? Are there any writing institutes near your place?

Thank you for replies!
@lillyHowitt08 I think I should do that, just revise the starting parts. Do you know any good tool for edit?
@Gabriella621 Join workshop not possible for me. Not much time for that. But thank you for advice! After completing PhD, I will like to join the course.
