ChloeBrackerParticipant
Hey Josh. First of all, I would like to welcome you to the life of a PhD. I am sure that with enough determination, you will be just fine 🙂
Regarding your query, I am a bit confused. Are you asking about the schedule of a PhD program? Or how you can do your studies and ace the class? Or are you looking for the resources to live in UK and pursue PhD? Or are you simply looking for tips to go about it?
Do you want to know about funding and scholarships, or something related to that? I am finding it a bit tricky to understand what you really want here. Shed some light on that and I will surely help you on that.

This is a link of University of Pavia. It suggests few topics which are related to your topic. You can surely refer to them.

It requires extensive investigation to figure out the research gap. Also, it is pretty painful. I did a lot of reading for this and after few remarks (which is normal) I got it through. If you want to understand how to write a good LR, Check out this link:

And I think I am in love with this website, it’s quite resourceful for any research work, regarding methodologies, statistics, etc. Most importantly, it’s absolutely free!
ChloeBrackerParticipantI believe you’ll have to change the topic. I came across a post about choosing a topic and writing proposal. I found it quite resourceful and maybe it can help you. I am sharing the link below. Check it out!

ChloeBrackerParticipantThere are various organizations that offer scholarships to international students. Some of the scholarships that you can apply for are Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship plan, Commonwealth Shared Scholarship Scheme and Overseas Research Students Award Scheme. UNESCO and WHO offers some schemes for international students also. You can check it out!
ChloeBrackerParticipantUniversity of Sheffield offers a fully funded PhD program, though I don’t know their procedure. Also, most of the funding processes have some deadlines. You can either write to them or simply call up to clear your thoughts.
ChloeBrackerParticipantHave you searched for the institution where you want to apply? If you have, then try talking to their management head. As far as I know, most of the universities offer scholarships to their students. If that’s the case, then you won’t have to look for funding elsewhere.
ChloeBrackerParticipantI echo the comment above. Sage handbook is really helpful. I used it as a reference too, all the methods are clearly explained with examples. And Alyssa024, why don’t you ask your supervisor if you can change your methods during the data collection methods? In my case, I could. If that’s same with you, then you can relax cuz you have an option of changing!
