When taking about my supervisor, there is only one word that comes to my head, “WEIRD”. The guy is totally nuts. He reviews my work when he wants to, he calls up when he wants to, he edits when he wants to. Everything happens as per his mood; sometimes he wouldn’t care, even if I am on fire, and sometimes, he’d just stand on my head and make me do work. But I guess that’s better than your over-editing-supervisor. My advice? Just stay out of his way. Peace.

Thanks a lot for the replies. Though I still find it difficult to make a conceptual framework. Could someone explain the different types of variables to me?

I have divided my LR into sections on the basis of my objectives. I don’t think that I should use matrix; that might backfire on me. I think I lack a good conceptual framework. Any inputs for that?

Thank you for the help. I understand what an LR is about but how should I go about it, as it has already been rejected twice.

I must say that you chose a decent technique for topic selection. But I second the opinion of Fisher. I have first-handedly experienced topic consultants who provide consultation on narrowing down your topic. To save on my time I took guidance from them. You may have a look at their offerings at “thesisclinic.co.uk”. It might happen that you land up with another unique and viable topic for research.
