ParticipantI’ll go with Jade Fisher here, but there are a lot of things that you must be prepared for. Remember, it is just not about knowing your research, but the way of presenting it. You need to learn how to impress your chair, for that ill suggest you do some research, about their educational backgrounds and learn a bit about their area of interest. That way, you can maybe hold a conversation with them.
So, expand your knowledge to the other areas and keep yourself updated with yours. And do focus on your presentation skills.

ParticipantI am so sorry to hear that. You are going through a really tough time and I think that you need to sit back and relax first. Everything will be okay! I, myself went through a rough patch so I can understand how it feels to be lost. Coming to your situation, I think that you need to organise your stuff, its more about management, really. I came across this post, maybe it can help you out:

ParticipantYou can take a look at this post I found for understanding the basics of conceptual framework and how to develop one. It also explains the different kinds of variables with examples. I am sharing the link below, you can have a look.

ParticipantWhat do you mean by that? What people?
Well, he’s rejecting my discussion section. According to him, it lacks interpretation and doesn’t answer my research questions and has a poor linkage to previous studies. To be honest, he’s being completely unreasonable!

ParticipantThanks for the replies guys!
@MatildaS02 I have no problems with them, they are just mean. We didn’t hit it off at the beginning and I don’t know, it never did work out. And I haven’t talked to my supervisor regarding this, I mean what do I say? Stop being partial?
@Katherine I am glad I am not alone! I have been patient for almost three years, still he’s rejecting my work. I am again making revisions but I don’t think I can face another rejection. -
