Mixed methods open up many choices for you to make. With personal experience I say that it is often good to do research with mixed methods because it reduces the possibilities of any gap within information. You can adopt any method suitable to fulfill your data requirement.

I can’t decide whether the topic I chose really interests me or not. I mean, I chose it myself and was happy with it initially but as supervisor direct me to do this, do that, I find myself and unsatisfied with my topic. You know how difficult and boring it is to work on anything which doesn’t interest you at all. What shall I do now? Work on it or chose a new topic?
